NESBETH PERFORMS WITH HONORABLE ANDREW HOLNESS

Nesbeth's Dream continues to life

FOR reggae singer Nesbeth, Thursday’s command performance will remain an unforgettable one. The entertainer not only performed his hit song My Dream at the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Andrew Holness at King’s House in St Andrew, but shared the stage with him.
“We expected the song to be a success because of the aggressive campaign we have placed around it. But for it to be used in the campaign and for the artiste to perform it at the swearing-in of the prime minister speaks volumes. It is a good look for his career,” said Nesbeth’s publicist, Raymond ‘Shadow’ Small.
In addition to Jamaica’s top politicians and business people, several overseas diplomats and overseas media witnessed Nesbeth’s performance.
On Sunday, My Dream was recognised by the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) as the Song of the Year. It also found its way to both the People’s National Party and Jamaica Labour Party political campaign in the run-up to the February 25 election.
